Field Service Technician

Field Technicians are responsible for meeting in person with our clients at their place of business and assisting them with obtaining services from Vicinity.

Preferred Qualifications
  •   At least 2 years in IT Support position preferred.
  •   Associate degree in IT or related field (or substitute years of experience)
  •   Preferred Certifications CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+
  •   Authorized to work in the United States.
  •   Current drivers license and clean driving record.
  •   Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  •   Excellent time management skills.
What we Expect from you?
  •   Meet with clients at their place of business and assist them with receiving technical support.
  •   Actively listen to clients, understand their needs and document those requests in a service ticket.
  •   Proactively schedule appointments with clients.

System Administrator

As a Systems Administrator, you will provide expert-level technical support, serving as a key escalation point for complex issues within our support environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  •   3 years of experience as an IT technician, administrator, or engineer.
  •   4-year degree (or substitute for an equivalent number of additional years of experience).
  •   Authorized to work in the United States.
  •   CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Server+ certification.
  •   Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  •   Excellent time management skills.
What we Expect from you?
  •   Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a range of IT infrastructure, including cloud services, servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and network devices.
  •   Manage and document all support tickets, ensuring detailed records of each issue and resolution for future reference.
  •   Other duties as required by job assignment.
